I did import to the new server with the old still authorized and I am not sure is this could be an issue base on the note in this post. I have deauthorized the new and authorized the old again and the old server is handing out address again. In the new server looking at the server IPV4 display statistics I see the start time from when I started the service and it did record Discovers, Requests, Acks, Nacks. Or am I missing something else? I have the exact same question as above. I'm in the same situation.
What has gone wrong? I do not dare to do the same thing over again with most likely the same result since there is users affected by this. I did get this to work finally.
Once I added the new entry it did work. Another thing to consider If testing with the same network connection try clearing ARP so the switch has to learn new addresses. Not sure if this helped but it probably will not hurt.
