I would let others know that I tried it and it worked.. I went through all the recommended steps, but I am stuck with the Win 10 message, that the basic display driver is the lates version and there is no need for a new driver. I cannot skip this message and Win10 will not load the Nvidia driver. The funny thing is, that at an earlier stage win10 easily accepted the Nvidia driver and the screen res was fine.
But I had to delete this earlier attempt to get Win10 running, because it deleted all my data and I went back to an ealiere Win7 image I had saved.
