Do you not get a UAC prompt when you launch regedit. I do get the UAC prompt. Actually, it makes sense that nothing is there because it was intended to be a User DSN.
When I go into Access and try to click on a linked table which references this DSN, it shows the old incorrect connection info This seems to have overwritten the phantom datasource.
But I still don't know what the hell it was referencing before and possibly still referencing Show 3 more comments. Hope this helps! Jeff H Jeff H 46 1 1 bronze badge. I have no "ClickToRun" folder. Any idea what is going on there? No real clue I guess I shouldn't complain because I don't like Google either. Maybe it's a version issue? How did I find this place in the registry? So maybe you can find yours if they exist in the registry , by creating an obviously unique SQL ODBC data source using Access, then search the registry for it.
It would be much more fun if Microsoft just documented things better. Yeah still couldn't find it I wonder if that's a different version than yours.

Devart odbc driver for xbase provides a high-performance and feature-rich connectivity solution for odbc -based applications to access foxpro, visual foxpro, dbase, and other databases in dbf file formats from windows , macos, linux, both bit and bit. One example on Windows is Microsoft Excel. Note that Microsoft Excel can be 32 or 64 bit. This can be seen under File Account About Excel. INI key in the left pane. Select odbc. Right-click ODBC. INI and choose Rename. You are using a bit operating system.
Of course you probably risk a future compatibility problem with Excel 's ODBC driver if it changes where and how it stores settings. What I need help with however, is in obtaining the list of entries at a path two levels higher in the registry.
INI as an array of strings. If both keys set, Crystal Reports …. Unzip the file. Run the msi installer and accept the defaults. INI with success. The problem is that I'm adding the Password string too in clear. The 32 bit version that you are probably using does not know how to connect you to your database which is why you are not seeing the driver in the bit- list. ODBC Administrator typically installed in Control Panel creates a new data source by putting entries in the Windows registry or, for 16 bit, in the Odbc.
Where are ODBC connections stored?
