Hansol h710 driver

Thanks for the clarification on RAID not being backup, wrong terminology on my end then. I can't seem to get the Openmanage software working with my system for whatever reason, I tend to go into the PERC when i configure new drives directly. So what i'm gathering is that the drives do need to be set as a hot spare ahead of time correct? This way new disk will come in to play when any disk failed in RAID 10 array.

You can refer section "Managing Dedicated Hot Spares " on page 48 of below link on steps to configure disk as Dedicated hotspare. Thanks to all for your comments! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, but i think i just need to see it in action.
