Now I'm not tech savvy so please bear with me but I do as much research as I can. I gone through the process of installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home edition bit with Service Pack 1 and I can never get it to install properly and for it to not have to boot from the installation disk. So I'm turning to here for some help. There were times were it would get past the reboot and actually finalize the installation process and assign the OCZ SSD with a 'windows boot manager' but then it would only load the operating system if the Windows disk is in, which I don't want.
Even after a while, I would get the error about 'hardware changed and couldn't detect what was needed to boot'. I'm at a total lost Please help me in any way possible. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. So you are doing a fresh install onto just the SSD other drive removed using a Win 7 install disk that already has SP1 on it? I'm going to try an external CD drive with my Windows 7 install disc and see what happens then, but I have little hope.
I did also delete the volume and tried that to no avail, as you suggested. These tools are not for Revodrive 3 or 3 x2 drives. You use the Windows Toolbox for those drives. However, according to Ocztech website, you cannot upgrade the driver with the tool for a system partition.

I did a cancel and tried to do the install again, however, that did not work. I tried different media and same issue. Quick access. Search related threads. Remove From My Forums. Answered by:.
