Office 2000 word vista

I could install Microsofts Works Suite with some small install issues, but not too bad if interested to know. Chipper 2 Bronze. I have it running right now. It installed perfectly.

I don't know where that came from that it won't install. With some problems, Office will run on Vista. In particular, there are problems being reported with Outlook address book, some Excel macros, help files and error message.

This cannot be achieved by trying to run a copied installed version. Joined Jan 20, Messages Not sure about Vista compatibility but it should run by right clicking on the Office exe files and choosing compatibility mode.

Pickmeapp free claims to extract an installed program, if it works you will need the Office key handy to re-install it or use something like Magic Jellybean free to find the key on your present inatallation.

Word 97 installs OK and Office Standard Upgrade version installation program starts and gets to the point of the "Installing Office " dialog box and then basically hangs. Office product key entered and accepted. Task manager shows Office installation running and FindFast. Same result manualy starting the installation in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 and run as administrator.
